Spice+ Form for Company Incorporation

Spice+ was launched in order to replace the previously existing Spice Form. Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) established this new web-based form Spice+ to ensure that the incorporation process of the company and incidental registrations become easier. This enables the companies to apply, with the help of this single window form, for GST numbers, EPFO, ESI etc. That’s why it’s a must for all the incorporations of new companies that need to be done by Spice+ Form. In addition, there are other forms that need to be filed along with Spice+, namely AGILE-PRO, SPICE+AoA and SPICE+MoA.

Officials of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs states that it is mandatory for all companies for the purpose of issuance of PAN, TAN, EPFO, ESI, Profession Tax (only applied to Maharashtra) and the opening of Bank Account.

What is Spice+ ?

SPICE+ is a short form of Simplified proforma for Incorporating the Company electronically plus. The three Central Government Ministries and Departments, namely the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, namely the Ministry of Labour and the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance, and one State Government (the state of Maharashtra), ensure to offer around 10 services with the help of this integrated web-based form, Spice+, with a single window for numerous services at one place.

Services offered by Spice+ Form

The Services offered under this specialized single window web-based form are categorized into two parts, that are PART A and PART B.

Service(s) under PART A and PART B are as follows:

PART A:- Reservation of Name for new companies only.

PART B:-  

  • Incorporation of the Company
  • Application for Director Identification Number (DIN)
  • Application for PAN
  • Application for TAN
  • Application for GST Identification Number (GSTIN)
  • Registration for EPFO
  • Registration for ESIC
  • Company’s Bank Account opening
  • Registration for Profession Tax (only for Maharashtra)

The Application process for Part A and Part B can be carried out in two ways which are mentioned belowCompany may apply for both Part A and Part B on a simultaneous basis.

Company may initially apply for Part A and after the reservation process of the name is completed, then it can proceed with Part B.
